tWaDdLe started out with 50 people packed into the tiny basement of Dare Cafe in Headingley, Leeds. In spite of the frustrations of diners above, the night was an instant success, and as the music of its resident DJs married with the die-hard support of friends, clubbers and the general public, a unique party atmosphere was conceived.

tWaDdLe soon moved to the infamous 'black box' room at MyHouse, and created a unique fusion of innovative underground artists with an intimate but vociferous atmosphere.

A hard core of racous revellers were on board, and the tWaDdLe bandwagon picked up resident DJs of the calibre of Leftroom Records' Matt Tolfrey and Trimsound Records founder Tom Ellis. These two have played along side a shrewd selection from the underground house and techno scenes from Guillaume & The Coutu Dumonts to Chris Duckenfield. With attendances steadily growing but the intimate feel very much still in tact, the night is into its fourth season, with monthly guests playing along side monthly residents Christian Maiden, Neil McDermott, Brother Bull and Skipper.

With many more top performers lined up for the rest of the season, and its fourth birthday party set for May 2010, tWaDdLe promises to deliver its irresistible combo of party vibes and top underground acts for years to come.

Tom Ellis

tWaDdLe resident, and the man behind the distinguishedTrimsound label, the top funk jammer goes from strength to strength with a string of inimitably funky releases on labels such as Floppy Funk, Minibar and Logistic

Brother Bull & Skipper

The original residents and promoters for Twaddle, these two have a habit of setting the benchmark for twaddle's guests. It could just be their superb selection of deep and techy Chicago-inspired house sounds, but there's also an inexplicable chemistry between the two that invariably results in an infectious party vibe.

Christian Maiden

Resident, founder and self-proclaimed 'twaddle master', Christian's classy style and blend of percussive house and techno music has led to a cult following as well as resdiencies at MindTheGap, Soapbox and most recently Technique - one of the biggest underground nights in the United Kingdom.

Matt Tolfrey

Leftroom records head honcho Matt is the man who really helped Twaddle take its first steps into the big league - he was the night's first guest DJ in February 07 and enjoyed himself so much that he signed up for a residency.

Neil McDermott

The newest recruit to the resident roster, Neil has an approach way beyond his years.

Neil mixes deep house and stripped-back techno with shades of funk and is only ever a mix away from jacking it up Chicago style.
