tWaDdLe started out with 50 people packed into the tiny basement of Dare Cafe in Headingley, Leeds. In spite of the frustrations of diners above, the night was an instant success, and as the music of its resident DJs married with the die-hard support of friends, clubbers and the general public, a unique party atmosphere was conceived.
tWaDdLe soon moved to the infamous 'black box' room at MyHouse, and created a unique fusion of innovative underground artists with an intimate but vociferous atmosphere.
A hard core of racous revellers were on board, and the tWaDdLe bandwagon picked up resident DJs of the calibre of Leftroom Records' Matt Tolfrey and Trimsound Records founder Tom Ellis. These two have played along side a shrewd selection from the underground house and techno scenes from Guillaume & The Coutu Dumonts to Chris Duckenfield. With attendances steadily growing but the intimate feel very much still in tact, the night is into its fourth season, with monthly guests playing along side monthly residents Christian Maiden, Neil McDermott, Brother Bull and Skipper.
With many more top performers lined up for the rest of the season, and its fourth birthday party set for May 2010, tWaDdLe promises to deliver its irresistible combo of party vibes and top underground acts for years to come.
